KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal has called on the people to come together and build a state that offers a brighter future for all.
In his Wesak Day message, Mohd Shafie said, “we honour the contributions of Buddhists to our beloved Sabah and we renew our commitment to come together and continue to live as one in peace and harmony.”
“Devotees of Buddha believe in the universal teachings of peace, service, and recognition of common humanity. These are values that we share and bind us together as Sabahans,” he said here today.
“In conjunction with the celebration of Wesak Day tomorrow, my wife and I wish to extend our warmest wishes to Buddhists in Sabah and in Malaysia,” he said.-SabahNewsToday
